Our Story
Shree Araniko Secondary School, located in Nuwagaun, Chakri Khola in the east, Ghorahi Chunwang Shahidmarg in the west, Bahrakunte Village in the north and Mangal Bazar in the south, is located in the central part of the Rapti Zone of the Lumbini Province of Nepal, west of the headquarter of Rolpa District, Liwang, and west of the former Nuwagaun Village Council Ward No. 5 and the current Triveni Rural Municipality-2. This school was established in BS 2018. This school received permanent approval up to the primary level in 2022. BS 2032 was established and received permanent approval for the N.M.B. level in the same year. Similarly, it received permanent approval for the secondary level in 2052. Currently, since 2065 BS, grade 12 and since 2075 BS, diploma level Diploma in Plant Science is also being run.
In this area, where people of all four castes live, namely Brahmin, Chhetri, Janajati and Dalit, the number of Janajati and Magar is high, while the number of Chhetri and Dalit is normal and the number of Brahmin is very low. In terms of the former village council, there are villages like Kareti in the east, Jungar in the west, Gairigaun in the north and Jhenam in the south. Currently, in terms of rural municipalities, Rolpa Municipality is in the east, Kapurkot Municipality of Salyan in the west, Madi Rural Municipality in the north and Runtigadhi Rural Municipality (the birthplace of Swargadwari Mahaprabhu) is in the south.
If we analyze the context of the establishment of this school, then this school was located on a cliff on the bank of a river. This cliff was used as a place for grazing cows and buffaloes. But under the leadership of the late Tek Bahadur Budha (former District Vice President) of Nuwagaun, this cliff was dug up and leveled by the people of Nuwagaun, a hut was built and a primary school was established (2018).
Further,, this school received permanent approval as Shri Rastriya Prabhu Vidyalaya in B.S. 2020 when it was approved as a private school, while in B.S. 2032 when it was approved as a lower secondary school, Shri Rastriya Ni.Ma.Vi. Nuwagaun received permanent approval under the name of Ni.Ma.Vi. Nuwagaun. After that, in BS 2045, under the leadership of Principal. Kulananda Giri, this school received temporary approval under the name of Araniko Madhyamik Vidyalaya Nuwagaun. In B.S. 2052, it seems that it received permanent approval under the name of Araniko Madhyamik Vidyalaya. Then, in B.S. 2065, during the time of Principal. Shivnarayan Mandal andSchool Management Committee. Chairman Hum Bahadur K.C., this Araniko Madhyamik Vidyalaya Nuwagaun received temporary affiliation to run a higher secondary school level education faculty from the Higher Secondary School Council, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. Currently, this school is a Higher Secondary School. The council has provided two grant teacher posts for classes 11 and 12. Due to the insufficient manpower of permanent posts, teaching work has become difficult. Currently, this school is waiting for full posts for classes 11 and 12. If private sources are not paid, it is likely to affect teaching and learning outcomes. Teachers should also realize their responsibility.
Finally, attending school meetings and gatherings, asking questions at specific places, and providing objective advice to the leadership would have provided positive reinforcement.
